Shaker Kitchens

This traditional style offers a simplistic style for those who like clean lines and no fuss.

All units are manufactured using traditional methods. Mortice & Tenon joints are used on all unit frames and doors and Dovetail joints can be used on drawer boxes if specified. Traditional production methods are complimented by modern day enhancements such as soft close drawer runners, intergrated appliances and mood lighting.

Unit frames and doors for painted finishes are made from Tulip wood (Poplar) as standard, and any hardwoods can be used for a stained or natural finish to create a natural look. Internally, the choice of material used is up to you. These are generally made from a solid wood veneer such as Oak, Walnut, Ash, etc, but you can also have solid wood interiors if you prefer.

If you are going for a painted finish, all units are finished with a hand painted matt enamel paint which you can wipe down easily and can be repaired very simply if scuffed. Any colour can be used, but we generally work with Farrow & Ball colours. If you are going for a natural wood look, a sprayed finish is applied.
