When taking on a project such as a new kitchen, there is obviously going to be some disruption to your home. This can be major or minimal depending on the size of the project that you are undertaking. We offer a complete project management service which makes the whole installation process smooth & trouble free. We have a vast wealth of experience in the building & joinery sectors which spans over four decades. Some of the first questions that we get asked when talking about a new kitchen are:
- “how long will it take to install?”
- “who sorts out the building work, Electrical, Plumbing, etc?”
- “who coordinates everything?”
Being a family business, we understand client’s needs during the whole process. Sometimes it’s the small things that count like having a usable sink or fridge/freezer to use during the installation. Our approach is very relaxed in the build up to the project, but when the manual work begins we work at a very high tempo so that disruption is minimal.
A typical kitchen fit can take around a week. If granite worktops are to be used, you need to allow an additional 5-10 days for templating & installation and if additional building work is required to prepare the room prior to the installation there can be around an extra weeks work on top depending on the size of the project.
We have a team of talented tradesmen and can supply you with any of the following:
- Carpentry & joinery
- Building work
- Flooring & tiling
The Images below show a typical project. This commission involved removing the existing Kitchen and an internal load bearing wall. Installing a 7m steel beam. Taking up an existing flagged floor and levelling through. Fully re-plastering the room. Laying the new floor with Amtico flooring. Changing the external French doors to a single glazed door and blocking up and rendering where necessary. Manufacturing and Installing the Kitchen Units. Templating and installing the Quartz worksurfaces.
